While I despise Kerry for his treachery, enough is enough. He volunteered to go and he went! That is more than my neighbor did when he fled to Canada. Your neighbor acted more honorably than Kerry did. At least he didn't betray his comrades-in-arms.
As much as I despised the draft-dodgers, traitors like Kerry and his VVAW buddies were far worse.

Yah! What you said!
I lost far too many school friends and even a brother-in-law in Nam...my conscience will not allow me to let ANYone I know go "uneducated" about Kerry and his best friend Hanoi Jane.
Their behavior was disgusting then, and it is worse now -- it was and is, war-time: Why were they not tried as the TRAITORS they were and are?
Anyone?

I agree, kerry's treachery was far worse than those who ran away. They lost their right to come back to this great country until jimmy peanut man pardoned them all.
kerry turned the vets who served honorably into public enemies.
Never forget and never forgive.
