Something you might be able to help me with, since you're a Pat syncophat, well read I presume.

I know Pat's stance on immigration.

I know he's supportive of amnesty for illegals, but I've never seen his position spelled out.

How long does an illegal need to be here before American citizenship is bestowed on him. 5 years? 10? 20?

I've had trouble figuring his position out, I rarely see it clearly stated, understandable since the brigadiers might not like it.

If he's not supportive of amnesty, let me know, I'll recheck my questionable sources.

Pat has no problem with the concept of immigration. After all his forebears were immigrants. He simply wants to return to the days when we had an immigration agency that worked and immigration laws that were measured and sensible.

He's a common sense conservative just like the brigadiers.
