He claimed that he wanted to leave early, as he was speaking at a meeting of Planned Parenthood. I checked their website, and they didn't have any such thing scheduled. Plus, it was after 10:30 at night, and it's hard to believe that he would need to show up then.

The AP generally handles Moore with kid gloves and seems to like him, so he must have really been trying to agravate them.

My guess, he wanted to be story, McCain mocking him, isn't enough, Moore has to be front page news, and this was another way for him to grab publicity.

It doesn't help that he's nuts and thinks everyone in the media, from the NY Times to Prada is probably conservative to him.

he was going to a bar to try and pick up women. The planned parenthood part came into play when the ladies took one look at this walking bean bag and immediately decided that abstinence was the only way to go!!
