Is the procedure for separating bomb and bomber generally
known? Are remote manipulators used?
It seems like taking an unnecessary risk to have actual
UXO people doing this work.
I'd be inclined to just detonate the device, with the
terrorist still attached.
I think I'd be more inclined to apply one or more high velocity 62 grain projectiles to the miscreants forehead in order to preclude any inopportune firing of the device.
Easier extraction and examination would then result.
But then, that's just MHO.
