They're nasty, unwashed beatnik types. I don't think I've ever heard of someone being accused of being a beatnik. Weren't they around 50 years ago? And yeah, I share your disgust with the perp who did this. Whether he's a beatnik or not I hope they catch him & give him what he deserves.

I don't think I've ever heard of someone being accused of being a beatnik. Weren't they around 50 years ago? Yep. They never went away. That's what my parents used to call them. Smelly, dirty, miserable people. They hated everything , but called it "Peace and love."

Yeah, beatniks. Hippie precursors. Bob Denver as Maynard G Krebs. Allergic to work and common sense. Like to whail with Allan Ginsburg and bongo drums. Deadbeat subculture should be extinct, but don't know it.
