I saw the video of this incident. I didn't see anyone pushed off a scooter. There was one guy (youngish black man wearing jeans,white t-shirt and baseball cap) violently kicking something on the ground. It looked to me like it was just this one guy was doing the kicking. The rest of the "mob" were looking on and doing nothing for a few moments, and then a uniformed cop came over and basically let the kicker go with only a tongue lashing.
That's what I saw anyway.

In 1968 at Chicago, my read is that the rampaging anti-war protesters helped win it for Nixon.
It might be worth considering for Bush to refer to the "silent majority" that go to jobs and work, do not riot and protest, and don't much like folks that do riot.
The Republicans allowed the dems to hold their little 'kumbaya' in Boston without riots.
That'll probably get me bounced back to the road.
I kinda feel like the old timer in Shawshank Redemption, I think his name was Birdie?? Was institutionalized for so long he didn't know what to do. I've been working the road so long (18 years) I don't know what to do.
