Viola!

And, therein lies the root of their "underestimation" of him.

They'll do it everytime.

It is premised on their arrogance on the one hand, and their disdain for average Americans. They will "underestimate" again...and to their doom. Too bad they can't see it coming, as Krauthammer suggests.

But wait. Maybe SOME OF THEM do see it coming; and hence the increasingly caustic outbursts and tantrums on TV, in public places, on the roads, anywhere they meet people who challenge their own narrow, fascist viewpoint.

Best ever bumper sticker: "HONK IF YOUR HORN IS BROKEN". Keeps the average person busy for about a half-hour. ;)

Besides my Bush/Cheney04 bumper sticker I have a "MY HEROES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COWBOYS" bumper stick which has a picture of Reagan and Bush in cowboy hats.

The day Regan was layed to rest I had a moron pull up behind me at a light and gave me a double handed flip off. He held it up for the whole light. I thought what would Reagan do? and then I smiled and waved.

The 2nd incident happened this last weekend when a car full of kids, maybe 17-years old passed me all hanging out the window yelling at the top of their voices, F%@& Bush.

The Cowboy sticker is very popular amoung Republicans I see though. They all ask where I got it. it is from www.bumpertalk.com

Panicking, they conclude that half of American voters must be babbling, incoherent idiots!

Yeah, their half!

I was walking to work today when a woman on a bicycle almost ran me over. She said "Watch your step, d9@khead." I wasn't displaying anything Bush-oriented...I naturally just assumed she was a moveon.org-type.

And, of course, they are right.

I thought a good sticker combination at the back of a car would be (on one side): "I BELIEVE KERRY'S CREWMATES"...and then on the other side, that one single sticker, the "W" that many have seen and show.

It might get a liberals hopes up real high, and then dash them the next moment.

The young lady replied that it was traditional...symbolic...that they could not afford to buy a table. "You see", she said, "Democrats are poor".

Flabbergasted, I pointed out to her that kerry was a very rich man.

"But I am poor", she replied.

That's the most pathetic and hilarious thing I've heard in a long time.

A few minutes ago, I posted this reply on another thread dealing with how I and my wife are seeing libs implode and explode.

"Phil's bout of "information compulsion" was a lucky break for you."

It seems like when we have these stressful events in our national life, the closet liberals and lunatics who pretend to be conservatives or moderates, will often expose their true nature in a moment of critical disclosure.

The Monica mess exposed quite a few closet liberals in our social circles. Usually this happened when a group of conservatives were discussing Bubba and his Intern. These closet liberals would suddenly utter or shout a liberal mantra like "It was only about Sex, just Drop it!" What they exposed was the tip of the liberal iceberg they had kept hidden.

GW has this same effect. Something GW has or hasn't done causes these hidden liberals to just implode or explode, and their hate GW Syndrome/Disorder is shown.

My wife and I in the past week have seen two people lose it re the Swift Vets and sound like O'Reilly while suddenly dissing the Swift Vets. Both admitted that they would vote for anyone to defeat GW. Watch O'Reilly whenever he even mentions Swift Vets. He can't tolerate them and what the Swift Vets stand for. Even a professional closet liberal phoney like O'Reilly will lose it in a critical moment with the Swift Vets.

Iam thankful we had the house remodeled so they have their own suite of rooms off of the main house.
I see them at dinner only but they usually eat in their den. what i cannot understand is the hate in the voice when even say the Presidents name.
the other thing is this guy is living on a fat teamsters pension plus his SS and my motherinlaw gets SS too so were not dealing with poor folks here, yet to hear them say it they are living in a world of financial hell thanks to Bush, and this total BS they spend $$ like crazy, go on trips spend spend spend yet they are poverty stricken thanks to bush taking everything away from them??? they are crazy.they believe all that mr jennings says and the local paper? all gospel to them every bush hating word is fact dontcha know? LUNATICS!!
If we try to just talk about current events they only parrot what the teevee has told them and if you have a different point of view they look you right in the eye and tell you you are ignorant and backwards!!?? insulting and belittling hence my Grand Mal fit a while back.

It will reduce "car keying" and "tire puncturing" for sure when parked (or worse, something dangerous under the hood).

Unfortunately, when mobile, "flip offs", "sarcastic bastard liberal head-wagging" and even perhaps "road rage" may still be encountered in these days.

Last week I drove down I-95 from Massachusetts to Florida. I was mildly surprised by how few sticker I saw at all. I began to see Kerry/Edwards around Washington, DC ,a fall off in the deep south and a pick up in Florida. I'd say I it was two to one, Kerry. But again, very few and all on the usual type liberal cars.

Driving through Jacksonville, there was a big billboard with a black democrat running for some office, however he had a very patriotic back-round and was wearing Navy Officer Whites.

I am in the Treasure Coast part of Florida, and it is all Republican. At the office at the company I am a sub-contractor to, the office liberals have just collapsed the last few days what with the Swiftboats, Kerry's drop, and GW starting to pour it on.

Just my gut, but I get the feeling of Dukakis with Kerry again.

I live in SoCal and I have had only one "situation". Both our cars have Bush/Cheney stickers and I have two poster boards in my house front windows.

My neighbor across the street has a small Kerry sign in his window. He is a retired school teacher and an all around nice guy. Last friday when I came home from work he asked to borrow one of my trash cans and during our small talk he says, "your guy took the lead today". I said yeah and was about to ask him why he was supporting Kerry, then he starts telling me he has some friends who are "right-wingers" and he can't imagine another four years because there are "so many better things we could be doing". I'm assuming the last comment was a reference to Iraq. I'm 30 and he's in his sixties so I kept my mouth shut because I was taught to respect my elders. But I wanted to hammer him on Kerry's position on Iraq, abortion, flip-flops, lies, etc. I was a little surpised by his "right-winger" comment, because I think it was intended to be a jab, but I took it as a compliment.

For forty years or more, the Hollywood/Madison Avenue Axis has been the ultimate authority in America. As documented by the renegade leftist Thomas Frank in The Conquest of Cool, this authority is intimately and necessarily linked to the set of beliefs that are commonly (if erroneously) labeled as "liberalism."

The rise of the internet and independent media sources, combined with the growing skepticism that results from the simple accumulation of public experience (the saturation media learning curve), have eroded this authority in recent years. The adherents of centralized media authority, the LLL as we are fond of calling them, sense this loss of power and they are simply becoming desperate.

Millions have sold their souls to a culture of status and authority that is disintegrating before their eyes.

This is not a matter of politics for libs, it is a matter of their personal status and image, the realization that their entire lives are based on enslavement by an illusion. They will fight very hard to prevent this loss. This is going to get much worse before it gets better.
