Why, in the seventh level of cowboy hell, are you watching A-MESSNBC??

Knowing your enemy is one thing.

Driving yourself insane is quite another.

No matter how you stack it Kerry was in contact with the enemy and acted as a mule to convey their demands, that is against the law.

Well, I had it on, but I was out of the room. I came back in and saw Brinkley on w/ Brokaw. I left the room and came back in and O'Grady was wonderfully articulating the case against Kerry for secretly negotiating w/ the VC and NVA.

Brokaw was such a hack. O'Grady didn't waver.

Brokaw signed off with-- Scott O'Grady is a motivational speaker now living in TEXAS --Dontcha know that that's a no-no, that is obvious coordination with the Bush campaign (BRokaw asked if he had been contacted by the Bush campaign, he said NO).

Brokaw also suggested that since MCCain forgave Kerry, wehat's the big deal?

I only mention it because it is a big story. Scott O"grady is a midern hero who undoubtedly relates to the soldiers of today and the 18-34 bracket. The fact that he is speaking out so strongly is huge.

Scott O'Grady is a modern hero. Brokaw lost the debate and he knew it.

Brokaw and the gang are so blind to issues of honor that they chalk up everyone righteously coming out against Kerry the Traitor as a Bush stooge. How insulting to the electorate!!!

No, I'm ok. I think O'Grady did well. I am watching just to see what the Left is up to.

I can't tell you how many times I have heard, "Bush said the WOT is unwinnable, Edwards argued today in NC that that is a defeatist attitude."

I'm stuck in a cubicle and would like to hear these things. Wow, Scott is the pilot who got shot down over Bosnia right?

Funny thing. I can't find any information on when and where Brokaw served in the Military.

Let's see, he was born in 1940 and transferred colleges. No deferments listed, nothing.

My guess would be he was one of the anti-war journalists along with Oliphant and Chrissie Matthews.

They will not go down without a fight.

Election night I'll switch over once-in-awhile to see Brokaw cry again. In 2000 he had tears in his eyes and said "It looks like we lost." I kid you not. I think Rather was pretty sad as well as I recall.

Yep, he comes across wonderfully. I think it is wonderful that honorable men of different generations and different wars are coming out against Kerry.

Kerry was wrong-- he "danced on the edge of treason" or went five miles past teh border of treason. That's a fact, and it isn't dirty to bring it up.

The Left can't say everyone who points it out is a stooge. Of course, they'll try, but the American people won't buy it.

Of course. His 'Greatest Generation" books are swell, but that was just a belated homage from the Boomers to their heroic parents.

Boomer Lefties are the worst people this nation has ever produced.

Actually, Brokaw made a pile of money riding on the backs of the military.

Did he give any of it away to charity?

How insulting to the electorate!!!

These NYC elitists think the country revolves around their city. On November 2 they will see just how wrong they are.

I lived in Los Angeles from '68 -'70 and
Tom Brokaw was a news guy on the local NBC
affiliate... KNBC; and Connie Chung was
the local news girl on the CBS affiliate.

I remember Brokaw's speech impediment, but
not his stance on the Vietnam War. Either
he stuck mostly to straight news or I was
too young to notice any liberal, anti-war slant
in him.
