Pakistan has been doing a great job rolling up (or killing) the terrorists. This must kill the leftists.

As Pakistan continues its relentless campaign against al-Qaeda, diplomatic circles in Islamabad and Washington believe that some "high-value" targets might already have been arrested to be produced at a later date. Any takers?

Was Madeline Albright right? Will Osama jump out of a cake at the RNC convention? :)

At present the three most high-value targets desperately wanted by the Bush administration before the US presidential elections in November are bin Laden, his deputy Dr Aiman al-Zawahiri, and top Uzbek militant Tahir Yuldash. A fourth target is the less-known Abu Faraj al-Libi, believed to have taken over from Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the September 11, 2001, mastermind arrested in Pakistan early last year. Keep up to date with all of the scumbags with the terrorist scumbag scorecard. Can't tell your scumbags without a scorecard.

I think we discussed these operations. Looks like the worm has turned with Pakistan picking up the jihadis it has trained.
The tone of this article is exceedingly confident that the Big Kahuna may be nailed!

top Uzbek militant Tahir Yuldash The description of Yuldash as "top" suggests that Juma Namangani is in fact dead. Anyone have confirmation on this? Various sources that I find seem to conflict.

Wher are the human rights groups? Can't they see that these poor terrorists are being terrorised?

It would appear to me that keeping the capture of one or more of the high value targets under wraps just makes good sense from an intelligence standpoint. The arrest of an immediate supervisor would almost certainly cause a terrorist to flee or at least lay low. We saw what happened when someone announced the capture of the computer geek a month or so ago. He had been working with our side to set up stings designed to lure others into the net. Outing his capture put a premature end to a very successful operation.

The spate of arrests in recent days is evidence that they are obeying their orders with considerable - and unaccustomed - zeal, with few being spared. This is to be expected when it becomes clear which side is going to win.
