Sounds like 'buyers remorse' is hitting hard over in Democrat country.
As well it should.
Geez, they're just figuring this out now? What took them so long?
The puffed up peacock has no tail feathers.
Hopefully, it will set in before the election. John Kerry is Grey Davis on a national level. I wish people could see this. He is totally deviod of any values whatsoever, except his desire to become the President.
Translation:
I am a sentinent adult therefore I nave concluded from overwhelming evidence that Kerry lied for his medals but I dare not say so out of fear for my future career and his. Therefore, I will make the same point about his mendacity but in a policy area where the damage is not serious but which still balms my conscience.
William Raspberry
All the 'Rats, and Crash McCain, are singing this song, but what's the rationale for it?
good mornin' CW
keep an eye on Hellary's face amigos
the wider the grin....the bigger a Bush victory
At least McCain told Kerry during the primaries to knock it off on the Vietnam talk, but the Rats sure as heck didn't.
I just don't buy the idea that all Vietnam vets are beyond being questioned. I honor them all for serving, but that doesn't give them a pass for falsifying the service records or not allowing their political records to be questioned.
McCain's problem I don't know about (maybe tied in with his devil's alliance with Kerry to normalize relations with NV), but for most of the dems, well, they won the last round, so they think the matter should rest. They aren't the ones who've been seething over it for 30 years.
> But if Bush is frightening -- in part because he so dogmatically believes what he believes -- Kerry is frustrating and infuriating because he seems not to believe much of anything worth risking offense.
Bush "so dogmatically believes"; Kerry "seems not to believe"
Throughout the article, Rasberry condemns Bush with facility, but pussyfoots around Kerry's deep flaws. Quit coddling your boy, Mr. Rasberry.
My husband contends that the type of sentiment that Raspberry is expressing will result in people who have said publicly they'd vote for Kerry, in the "secret" of the ballot booth, really voting for Bush.
Hope he's right. Sure sounds like Raspberry has his doubts about Kerry.
The weaker Kerry becomes, the angrier the partisan media will become with him, as they resign themselves to four more years of "BushHitler".
Be Seeing You,
Chris
The Dems cry has been "Anybody but Bush"...
...and they chose this ignoramus Kerry just to prove that they really mean ANYBODY.
Yes!
Great remark.
bttt...
He's conflicted.
