A sinfull nation has no right to claim that "with Christ" all things are possible.
True enough.
However there are more than a few good Christians who are trying. In some small ways momentum is building. Those good Christians DO have a right to proclaim with Christ all things are possible.
An attitude of despair only feeds the Enemy. Some who see despair among the ranks will not join the Cause, some already in the Cause quit because of it.
Askel, you mentioned in a post recently: "What they don't realize is how liberating it truly is to face the odds -- however much worse than you thought they were -- head on."

And that is what Christians and especially those in the Pro-Life Movement need to do. Not to give false hopes and expectations, but through true Christian Faith say that no matter how insurmountable the odds, WITH CHRIST ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
Now stop being a gloomy gus!

I don't believe in characterizing the odds worse than what they really are either, which is, in my humble opinion, what Askel does, however sincere she may be about this mis-characterization.

I'm not being gloomy in the least ... I'm merely stating the FACT of the matter.
If you fix the contraceptive mentality among Christians, the rest will follow. It's just the math. Plain and simple.
You can't eat your cake where contraception's concerned and have it too where abortion takes the "right" of Contraception to its only logical and reasonable conclusion.
