Ambulances are much bigger today than they used to be, many have stopped using vans and gone to small trucks. Todays ambulances will haul a pretty good load if you were to strip them of medical supplies and load them with explosives. Most ambulances only have two guys in them , one drives the other works on the patient. Pretty easy to overpower two people. Just call 911 the Ambulance is delivered to your door overpower the attendents and you are in business.
