By the way, NYC people aren't for patriotic parades any longer. That died out in the 50's. The marches today only appeal to be for the free stuff from the gov't. crowd.

Most NYCers are liberals (~85% of the population is registered Democrat in NYC)), and liberals don't like the military, hence the low turnout for the Armed Forces Day parade.
