I haven't seen that many peace signs since the Vietnam days. This election really is the last battle of the Vietnam war. Just after 9/11, I saw a number of signs (on our side) showing the flag and saying "These colors don't run" -- another slogan I hadn't since the Vietnam war.

Reminds me of a disturbing bumper sticker I saw the other day "These colors don't run... the WORLD" Just gave me an icky feeling that people don't yet realize that our economy drives the world and that's why we have the standard of living that we do. I felt like pulling that jerk over and asking him to give up his car for a camel if he sincerely felt that way.
