We have Seven 'copters and a blimp around my bldg. Massive police presence, and lots of anarchists trying to divert police attn. I have seen several impromptu traffic stops, and a mob of moped riders going the wrong way on one way streets, and sidewalks... This is going to be ugly kids...

Amazing no live media coverage of the protests in Boston..... Boston didn't have anything like this. First off, the protestors (as far as I know, they were all leftists) were gathered behind a chain-link fence near the convention center, where the delegates (I hear) could see them when they went by, but the place was inconvenient for the press. Downtown Boston was basically a ghost town for the week of the convention, because of the promised transportation disruptions (no one came). I think there was a smallish march on Thursday of the convention to the Boston Common and a spot of trouble. It didn't get much coverage, but it was over almost before it began.
