That is one of the greatest regrets I have regarding the war. Our troops went unsupported in public, because conservatives couldn't get off their asses and show them how much we appreciated their sacrifices.

If I recall there were a number of Rallies across the country where conservatives came out in support of the troops ..

As for the DNC convention .. they pretty much shut down the whole town that even the folks that lived and worked there couldn't get in
