A thought did occur to me...they could actually set up a pretty large disobeyance in Central Park to draw off troops from the Garden and set a small, more significant disturbance there.
Sounds like there's enough manpower on the ground to handle what ever the commies can muster. BUt it won't be pretty...that much is certain.
LAPD kicked tail on these wackos in 2000 . . . and hopefully in 2004 NYPD has the new high tech gizmos for non-lethal crowd control.
