I hope you don't mind my addressing you directly.

First a "thank you" for your raw and heartfelt honesty, it's rare in this world of ours to find someone who can simply say what's in their heart without engaging in hyperbole; I was deeply touched by your post.

We must each travel our own path to truth, it is invariably a lonely path filled with many challenges; too few ever make their destination, chosing instead to simply exist in a world clutered with old, unresolved issues. Give thanks to the Creator for having given you clarity of sight, and sense of purpose after so many years bereft of either; now your actions are guided by YOUR conscience and your heart, and not by rancor and hurt for your father.

I was blessed with wonderful loving parents who used ther love, and not their fists to guide me, and in spite of that, I rebelled...it's in the nature of youth to do so.

I'm glad that you were able to take all the bricks life flung at you, and make a solid foundation with them, stand on that fgoundation now, and you will never lose sight of the things that are truly important in your life.

May God continue to bless you and keep you in the shadow of His wing.
