TRY NOT TO GET ARRESTED ON SUNDAY. It's going to be a long week and for the protests to be successful, they need to be sustained. Experienced activists have better things to do than sit in jail.
A popular resistance to the war and domestic repression will energize tens of millions alienated from any political action, and will let people under threat of American cruise missiles and F-16s know that we do not consent. We are not "good Germans" doing the leaders' business. We are a free people whether the government gives us permission or not. In their dreams. Not only are they not the minority but there are plenty of folks I know who identify themselves as liberal or democrats whose values are conservative, they just haven't the sense yet to realize they've been completely fooled into supporting something that doesn't represent them.
