It is a crisis, but we hope Bush does something about policing the borders after the election. Obviously Kerry's worse than useless on this as well as anything else, but even leaving aside terrorist infiltration...until prosperity and decent govt. blooms south of the border, people will head north. That's fine, and it's worked in the past, but we can't continue to absorb millions of people...well, V.D. Hanson has said plenty on the subject, as you know. Okay, it's a side issue. What's on the table at the moment is getting GW reelected. Focus, focus, focus!
So many 'hoping' that Bush will do something about the borders, but knowing in their hearts that he won't. GW holds the border card, he could win in a landslide, if he'd just let BP do their jobs and let it be known that illegals are not getting anymore freebies or amnesties.
