but I'd never really put my finger on it. Thanks.

Its just a recent observation of mine. I couldnt quite put my finger on what the dems loathed about her, then I realized it was that she was playing their game without fear of them.

I spent some time talking to liberals at work last week and most are growing very disillusioned with Kerry. They admit he is a liar and he is a weak candidate. They say he is getting really bad advice to keep dragging up his 4 months in Nam. I think some are secretly going to vote for Bush to see through what was started in Iraq. Some said Kerry has no ideas and many inner city black voters have zero interest in voting for him.

hanoi john doesn't appeal to this white female city slicker either. his character alone are a turn off. Much less his voting record.

I'm beginning to get optimistic that we'll get Dubya, an increased House, and an increased Senate majority. One good sign is that Lurch is becoming an object of ridicule, and that can be deadly to any politician - especially one as naturally unlikable as Kerry. No one delivers ridicule with more skill than Mark Steyn.

I love that. If you don't want it for a tag line, may I have your permission to borrow it?

All Libs I have spoken to are driven by pure emotion, and a utopian view of what the world could be if it were up to them.

A big test for Kerry will be the reception he receives at the American Legion Conference.

The SBV and the POWS should contact the heads and membership FIRST

"An even bigger test is gonna be at the debates..."

Debates? By that point, Kerry will be reduced to calling the president a poopyhead.

When Ann gets done with them, they are just a bloody mess. She uses master strokes to reduce them to a bloody pulp, but Steyn neatly slices off all the parts and stacks them in the corner.

I prefer the Bloody Mess myself

I was shocked when the Dems gave him a free pass. But that's what happens when you don't have a serious press corps in this country (or a press corps that's clearly biased in one direction, which is the same thing).

That is what also happens when you have a party of losers ya all can't find a candidate to sell
