Liberals had no problem blaming Dubya for the dragging death of James Byrd, Jr., or releasing a sealed DUI charge hours before the election.
Seems to me that they can dish it out but they can't take it.
It just amazes me all the rationalizations that the media can come up with. The Swift Vets come out with their ad, and the NYT comes out with some stupid diagram trying to tie it to Bush. The NAA(L)CP comes out with their Byrd ad and somehow it's independent.
The DUI stuff was a classic campaign dirty trick, but I blame Bush for not disclosing that beforehand.
