Yeah, I don't usually go to the 'latest articles' page, and so I figure maybe lots of other freepers (like me) start right at the 'latest posts' page. Since there is little or no text on the 'latest posts' page, I get a quicker glance at a greater number of thread headlines and a broader brush of what the hot topics are (based on how many posts to certain threads show up in front of me on my screen).
By the way, sorry to keep clogging up your pings. I shall try to remember to knock your name off the 'to' section when I bump the thread.
