And just think about how much the media had confused this issue of the campaign. Pat Cadell says perhaps the most basic and intelligent observation of the last month, and we all seem somewhat amazed.

The fact is, Cadell is 100% correct on this. It was an insanely stupid move to make the centerpiece of a campaign 4 months of questionable service in Vietnam, followed by years anti-war protesting. There's nothing more to say about it - it was simply a horrible strategic miscalculation on the part of Kerry.

And honest he is---he said he like(d?) Kerry as a disclaimer.
And he was correct, there are many, many regrets. I have a feeling when he said "all" he meant the protestors.
And he may not have agreed with Dornan on some points, but I sensed a respect towards the POW/MIA wives & other victims of VVAW. Haven't seen one dem do that.

They pulled sKerrys Vietnam "record" to show his "accomplishments" vs. Bush with aim to show that sKerry can be better Commander in Chief. (Nothing else much to run on.) They thought that they will get away with propaganda in MSM and everything will be honky-dory, jus' like Clintoon managed. Thank God for brave Vets and their stand. Each buck sent to their fund is worth thousands spent by rats on smearing Bush for years.

If you were running John Kerry's campaign, what would be the centerpiece? The fact that he chose his Viet Nam experiences, counterfeit as most of them were, only magnifies how bereft of any accomplishments this spoiled gigolo is.

Kerry's problem is two fold. First, liberals control the RAT party, and they control the elitist thinking of this country. They've taken over academia for the past thirty years, they control the MSM, and they never let truth and facts get in the way.

The second problem for Kerry is that he's spent his entire life pursuing rich women. Correction, stupid rich women. He wanted a lapdog's life, and he achieved it, but it took all his time and energy to get it. Running as a RAT for public office was easy in MA. He moved five times one year to find an open congressional seat to run for. Once he got into office, he aimed higher, finally got the senate seat...and then with TerAYsa paying his bills, realized his senate salary was chump change. Why bother to show up for his day job? So...he didn't.

Unfortunately, this means he can't run on his senate record since he was almost never there. He got his office to put out boilerplate papers on both sides of every issue so if you were a constituent and wrote complaining letters to his office, you'd get a letter back agreeing with you no matter what. Are we talking Monty Python here? You bet your booty. The only 'honorable' leg he could stand on was his Vietnam service, and none of the RATs were smart enough to look at that very closely until now. If you can put aside the human tragedy he's caused, this is hilarious and richly deserved. His many dorky photo ops, botox, face lifts, TerAYsa's idiocies, the insanely expensive toys, the airplane painted to look like Air Force One, all icing on the cake. Thank you, Swift Boat Vets, for hanging in there, for your bravery then and now, for standing tall. And thank you, Jim Robinson, for FR. Unbelievable power of the internet and intelligent thought. It's akin to the first printing press!
