Yep .. that was it .. and Fred Thompson was close to having a hissy fit almost every day .. and then he too finally gave up.

He couldn't get any support from the limpwristed Republican's who were afraid to speak too loudly!!!!!

We really need a housecleaning of the Republicans in Washington....
