Where is Xanadu? Our daughter is in GA and I went there in June....loved it. We are contemplating getting out of CA within a year and it will be GA! I want to go to the mountains and sit on Zell's porch with him......GA sure looks like one of the last conservative bastions in the country. Don't think I could talk my husband into the mountains of northern GA but I wouldn't mind being a neighbor of Zell's.
I live in Louisiana, but have been thru the mountains in N. Ga many times. There are places there where you can almost escape modern times if you desire to.
Some really good people up there as long as you try to be a good neighbor i.e. mind your own business.
