I think it's good to have a firebrand and a cool, calm guy together presenting this case. It appeals to more segments of the population, especially those who'd be turned off by droning talking heads.
Glad Dornan is bringing out the visuals. People react to/remember images much more than they do lengthy intellectual discussions. For example, I heard a woman caller on a talk show yesterday who'd just seen the cover of "The New Soldier". She was furious. I don't think she would have reacted like that if she had only watched people talking about Kerry's anti-war activities in '71.
Dornan is great on the visuals. He'll hold up something for folks to see, if that helps get the point across. We all have our methods of communication. Reagan, admittedly lower key, did the same thing. I remember when he dropped the heavy pile of papers (the Democrat's budget) on the dais in the Congress during his State of the Union speech...and brief silence, then laughter and rousing applause that followed. The Democrats were TOAST.
Bob gave a good show, sounds like it. Think of the additional coffers of donations that might open up for the Swift Boats tonight, by people he infected with is sense of irate outrage. We should all be outraged as Bob is, that a man such as Kerry has come within six potential months of becoming our next President!
