OK, fine, I got you mixed up with someone else, yet I see you didn't quote any other part of the post, so I guess you had no quarrels with that.

Most non-partisans were watching the Olympics. The non-partisans don't give a rats butt about politics in late August.

Oh, only ONE MINUTE of that tape could ruin Kerry's chances of re-election, let alone of becoming Pres.

Still, you wonder if B1 has it in a safe place or if his life insurance company wouldn't cancel on him after tonight's appearance.

I figure if Dornan still has those flags after all these years, you can count on him to still have the tapes. Obviously, he keeps his powder dry. I had never heard any of this from Dornan before, had you or anyone else?

The show was so rapid fire that his mention of the tapes wasn't followed up. Dornan and his tapes need to be seen. As you say, it will only take one damning moment of tape to plunge the stake into the heart of Kerry's campaign.

Do you think are the chances are that Kerry was one of the FBI moles into the VVAW?

VVAW burned the American and waved the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese flags, giving aid and comfort to their enemies.

B1 Bob has lots of pictures..he trailed Kerry around in 1971.

Pat Cadell is an honest guy, and an excellent pollster. His diagnosis of how the Dems blew the last 3 elections is right on target.

Kerry's own words, before the US Senate, and played to the POWs in the Hanoi Hilton will bury him.

Is the same cast of characters from VVAW and War Resister's League, which were hard core leftist,Commie groups, behind the NY planned disruptions?

The mere possibility that film exists of Kerry and company burning and pissing on American flags must have Kerry awake all night.

Imagine those TV spots coming out the final week of October...

Make no mistake about it. The guard then was a way out of nam.

The essential point is that if Kerry hadn't padded his record and hadn't engaged in VVAW activities, his service would trump Bush's by a long shot.

No one is disputing that he was there and his life put at risk on multiple occasions. However, and this is a big however, it's all the peripheral crap that has landed him in this controversy.

Re post 32 - Exactly! These guys have a right to defend themselves!! I don't understand how anybody could think that they would stand back and give Kerry a pass on this!! As a local conservative radio-show host said; "Bush doesn't have a dog in this fight".

Has nothing to do with Bush.

Has everything to do with defending themselves against the lies of J f'n Kerry. He's using them and his (questionable) VN experience to win the presidency.

Let them be heard!!

Really, the talking points?

Are you accusing me of some nefarious troll like behavior, like reading from the DNC talking points?

I hope not. That would be very DU like

I recently ran across a website where you can look up the names of those family members looking for any bracelets we wore and you can register the ones you have and return them to the families.

If you have the URL for that website, please post it. I still have the bracelet I wore, and I would like to return it to the family if they want it. I did a Google search for my MIA, and it turns out that his remains were found not so long ago. He is buried at Arlington National Cemetary. Lt Col Carl Karst.

Vietnam vets won all battles and had to stand down and watch the war being lost here in the States.

Yes and NO

Certainly the pro -commie crowd including the media were solidly against the USA but the casualties kept coming with no end in sight
All the antiwar activity could not have succeeded without that occurring

BUT

The war was lost in the oval office and in the Pentagon

LBJ had the vast majority of the country behind him to start and then embarked on a NO WIN WAR with ridiculous rules on the bombing sancuary etc

Nixon still had a majority behind him and did not wage a war to win. If he had cranked up the B52s, just like he did to get the POWs back, and ended any pretense of sanctuaries etc back when he first took office and stayed the course we would have won ( Watergate was still years away)

And if the highest levels of the general officers resigned instead of fighting a NO WIN BS campaign things would have been different
MacArthur or IKE would have NEVER put up with it

"VVAW burned the American and waved the Viet Cong and North Vietnamese flags, giving aid and comfort to their enemies."

Poor little pig liberals. All of the agitation and incitement for communism is just about to be blasted across the airwaves. And your presidential candidate is playing the leading role.

I agree, it's time to lance the boil. This wound has been festering for far too long. Young Americans need to get the education that our schools refuse to provide.

Hmm.. I am hoping for a swiftvet commercial after the convention that features former Representative Bob Dornan, speak of how he watched John Kerry burn the American Flag, amidst a protest with people urinating on the flag. Then show the cover of Kerry's Book you pictured, with the American Flag upside down in the background of the ad. I wonder how many voters have seen the cover of that book before?
