The South Koreans claim they did complain in a timely manner, and the judges told them their protest could not be filed until after the event was complete, which is the opposite of what the rules say.

Note, however, that no official has been sanctioned for telling the South Koreans to wait, which seriously weakens their claim.

Might be that one of the judges that got suspenced might have been one of the ones approached?

I thought I heard while watching that something was being questioned by a coach, but didn't give it much thought at the time.
