Why? It's a perfectly logical point to discuss in a thread like this. As for "wait and see," that's silly if you're suggesting that Bush will actually do well with the Jewish vote, despite the fact that there's zero evidence for such an expectation. The polls may be skewed but they're certainly not skewed that much. The Jewish vote will go to Kerry in a landslide. It makes no sense, but there it is.
I think it's comparable to the phenomenon of so many older people who vote Democrat just because they were raised to believe Democrats are "for the working man" and Republicans are "for the rich." You could ask a lot of older people their positions on a dozen elements and they'd be staunchly conservative, yet they'll still tell you they're voting Democrat. Same thing here.
Maybe it'll change at some point.

Yes, here in the East, many of the old-time first generation ethnics vote Democrat. That would include Catholics as well as Jews. They vote in tradition of FDR. It's not really just a Jewish thing. I see these voters everyday, and they really do believe that the Democrats are for the working man.
What a bunch of boneheads.
