This is their job. The communist/socialist organizations that bankroll these events pay the maggots dope money, and of course they supply the buses used to cart the maggots around. When they need to get bonded out of jail, they call Mommy and Daddy and demand that they tap the trust fund. I would imagine they also steal a lot of what they need.
