It makes the FR look bad and it is hard to get more Hispanics to participate... I don't know... got to get more on board for taking them on.

I agree, but liberal discussion forums are far worse. At least the discussion very honest. I've been liberal discussion forums and have left them after a few posts. Liberals are very irrational.

That lump together word again --- I don't know why you assume all "hispanics" are for open borders with Mexico. Not all "hispanics" are immigrants or born to immigrants. Silvestre Reyes was the border patrol chief who stood up to the Mexican government which condemned him when he put Operation Blockade and Operation Hold-the-Line into place and that model is still used in parts of the border and the "hispanics" admired him very much for that --- so much that they elected him to Congress. He had no other claim to fame before that --- he was seen as tough on border control.

Many border residents including "hispanics" are quite aware of what is going on on the other side and the last thing anyone wants is all that moved over here. It's not just those so-called "anglos" who are getting socked with some very hefty property tax increases.

And we shouldn't forget that "hispanic" guy Cesar Chavez and that "hispanic" group the United Farm Workers --- they actually did violence on the illegals and went to the border to help enforce it. Cesar wasn't an illegal and did not come from Mexico.

I guess to be more honest I should add --- that and the fact that he ran as a democrat is why he got elected to Congress.
