Punctuation counts. I'd bet any amount that Mr Foulke actually said, "I think it's despicable, to tell you the truth.” That little comma is a key ingredient in the sentence.

What do you think about this?
I am in Wisconsin. Last week a teacher dropped the opinion that a draft would start in a few months. I believe this will be a new wide-spread scare message. If you here it remember that the only ones talking about the draft are Rangel (D) from New York and Conyers (D) from Michigan.
They target the minority students who are paranoid anyway. The weird thing is (not really) the legislation was created by the Democrats...Charley Rangel and his pals. But the kids don't know the congressional players so they are convinced it's the president and the Republicans.
That's how Kerry will get the youth vote.
