A Yemeni man accused of crafting terrorist propaganda appeared before a military commission here today and asked to represent himself.

Ali Hamza Ahmad Sulayman al Bahlul also admitted in court that he is a member of al Qaeda.

It's going to be interesting to see how these trials at Gitmo work out. I hope they'll be much better than many of the OJ-style circuses we've seen from civilian courts in high-profile cases.
