McCain? And Bush shouldn't take any of the blame? He SIGNED CFR. 98% of the responsibility for that atrocious bill is HIS.

Here is a President promising to take legal action against groups who criticize candidates for political office.

Unfortunately, I think this is one time Bush's "strategery" didn't work.

I thought for sure that SCOTUS would throw it out and was betting that was why Bush let it go. This way he was in a win/win situation.

Guess what? SCOTUS flunked the test.

I'm with you William, 100% disgusting.

The big laugh will be when attempts to silence these types of campaigns winds its way to the supreme court, the ruling will likely be against efforts to limit individually-funded campaigners. What a joke, the court first rules McCain(idiot)-Finegold CFR legal, then will likely rule 527s legal. That likelyhood would not surprise me at all.
