Gardner interview was devestating for Kerry. If he didn't see these reports until six weeks ago, I wonder if the guys supporting Kerry have seen them. Could change some minds if they did.
This particular incident establishes John Kerry as a negligent babykilling coverup artist. It cuts to the core of his character. Gardner's account really needs some airtime - with others that were on that boat that are in Kerry's camp.
The thing I really like about Gardner is Kerry could never buy him off over the years. God Bless him... he's been carrying around a terrible thing for so many years...
I heard Gardner on some of the TV channels over the weekend. They tried to shout him down with someother vet that wouldn't address what Gardner was saying. It sounds like he was more effective in this forum.
Thurlow has been put on the defensive because his medal report, (obtained at the time Kerry obtained his) records enemy fire.
