Kerry was AWOL for more than a year after he came back from Vietnam...he was still an active duty reservist and supposed to show up for almost two years of meetings, whatever. He never showed. Not once. Maybe his superior officer will speak up.
He sounds like a neighbor, a friend, a regular guy, someone you'd like to know. Not a fancy ass spin-meister out of DC talking out of both sides of his mouth at once. Gardner is devastating.
kerry won't lose any of his base since they are voting 'against' bush and not 'for' kerry....

Please! Kerry hasn't changed one bit in all these years. He's never held a real job in his entire life. He's lived off rich women, can't be bothered going to his day job as senator from Ma, because his salary is chump change. Falls down on the ski slopes in Utah and blames, swears at the Secret Service man, has had numerous botox shots and teensy weensy face lifts and lies about that, flip flops on every issue so he can say he's either for or against it, depending on whom he's talking to. Weasel??? Liar??? Smears and intimidates anyone who gets in his way. Sit down and shut up...remember that winner from that town hall meeting some months back? He's an arrogant son of a ....and has no business anywhere near the Presidency.
I got it wrong...Gardner said the child was behind the man he shot, so one bullet took out both.
Kerry had support from vets. That's gone now. Polls show alarming drop in vets for Kerry, down from sixty something to nineteen. And a lot of retired vets live in Florida and have extended families, all of whom vote.
DId you see the release of "Democrats for Bush"....They're getting ready to "gear up" their 3,000 plus membership.
Read thru the forty names on the steering committee....very impressive....Lead by Zell.
Dave: SwiftBoat Vets came out with a new ad today. This one is 30 seconds long and the only one on it is Steve Gardner. Looks like he's up to bat.
Thanks for the info. It will be interesting to see Kerry's after action report and compare it to Gardner's eye witness report.
Anyone paying attention knows Kerry lies. He is a hot air balloon in a storm of his own choosing.

The question I'd ask Gardner is "Has the Kerry campaign approached you to keep quiet or change your story?" and "If so, what did they offer you?"

Douglas Brinkley turned in a disgraceful but very revealing performance on Hardball (Monday?) recently.
When Gardner's name was brought up, Brinkly contemptuously dismissed him as a "Conservative from South Carolina".
(Of course we all know what THAT means)
