I've only had one close encounter with press ethics and it related to some interviews with an ex girlfriend and her coworkers by a "journalist" for a story. By the time it went to print, the statements had been twisted by taking snippets out of context to the point of being unrecognizable. I learned from that incident to never trust a damn thing the MSM prints.
