Bruce LeBlanc, the most honest leftist in America.

Unlike Kerry, Cleland, the Clintons, Howard Dean, etc. he's willing to directly state what his philosophy is and what he's all about.

Thank you for ripping off the mask, Mr. LeBlanc.

Mr Leblanc is nothing more than a sexual intellectual.

It is college. The teachers and students are expected to be exposed to bizarre, unusual and controversial subjects. However, is school a state school? Is it supported by tax dollars?

If so, the college and the professor may have opened themselves to a lawsuit.

If you cannot mention god in a publicly supported environment, you cannot mention crass and lewd comments directed at the religion of some of the students.

Just how I see it.

In addition, the committee said LeBlanc violated the policy "in that he engaged in negative stereotyping of the complainant, Mr. Stotler, on the first day of class when he made an assumptive comment about the student's religious beliefs during class.''

Being a jerk and profaning God's name is part of our country's freedom of speech. This certainly changes the perspective of the article for me.

The report recommends LeBlanc apologize to Stotler and meet with a dean of the school to review the class syllabus and analyze the complexity of the language used.

The "complexity of the language"? That just HAS to be edu-speak.

Stotler told the Dispatch he can't comment while he's "challenging the action through the collective-bargaining agreement."

But two years ago, he discussed academic freedom with the paper, noting it gives professors a chance to provide information in a way that addresses classroom dynamics.

"Dynamics can range from conservative students who need a push to open their minds to other possibilities to extremely liberal students who need to examine more conservative approaches," noted the paper of LeBlanc's comments.

Notice how the "conservative students" need to push open their minds, whereas the "extremely liberal" ones need only to examine a different approach?

According to the college's website, LeBlanc is a professor of psychology as well as sociology, and is also a member of its speaker's bureau.

It appears LeBlanc got caught using a bit of his psychology in the wrong way.

Very interesting way to word this comment. IOW's, conservative students are closed minded and need to be forcefully educated (err, re-educated) that other possibilities exist outside of the conservative framework. As if forcefully exposing them to liberal ideology will enlighten them. While liberal students just need to understand their conservative counterpart via examination. You know so they can be better understood. Sort of like examining three toed sloths to see if one can garner any insights to broaden their liberal landscape.

Teacher To Class: "F--- God!"

Students to College: "We want our money back."

Alumni to College: "We want our money back."

Corporate Donors to College: "We have decided to contribute elsewhere."

My son just started back to class.

I noticed he had written on top of one syllabus for a particular class the words "liberal scum."

I asked him what he meant, and he said it's easy to determine the political bent of the teacher by how much Bush-bashing goes on the first day of class.

Two of his classes this term started out with Bush-bashing.

His math and science class didn't, but his Ethics and World History class did. Public state college, our tax dollars are paying these professors.

Reminds me of a joke.

On the first day of class, college professor loudly proclaimed, "God is dead! If he is alive, I will give him 5 minutes to knock me off this stool!" and he sat down. After 4 minutes a young former Marine got up, walked to the front of the class punched the professor right in the nose, sending him somersaulting off the stool to crash onto the floor. The young man just said, "God was busy, He sent me instead."

It is because I HAD an open mind and seen both BOTH ways of life and living that I made a logical, sensible, principled and reasonable conclusion to be a Conservative. A Liberal only keeps an open mind without ANY type of thought process.

Please be politically correct and don't offend anyone--unless, of course, if they're Christian. Then anything goes.

Thus proving math and science professors are smarter. ;-)

(Sorry, couldn't resist. I teach math.)

That is BS. If the student had held up a sign saying "F**k Liberalism, Marx and Darwin", he'd probably have been thrown out of class and all this "professor" needs to do is say "oops, sorry"!?
