I think confining it to Kerry's statements that hurt POWs in Nam back in '71 and have haunted them ever since is the route to go. Doing this normalization thing is stoopid!!!

I actually do think they are. Tonight on Scarborough Country, Bob Kerrey kept saying over and over that the people mad at Kerry are also mad at McCain because of what they did to normalize relations. I can't think of anybody besides Ted Sampley that feels that way. Certainly the Swifties aren't mad about that. POW Paul Galanti (who is in the secong Swifty ad) was a McCain guy in 2000.
