I disagree. His immigration policies threaten a serious split in the party by advocating an amnesty that 3/4 of the country (including large majorities of independents and Democrats) opposes. To me, that is not a sign of genius.

This guy predicted a landslide in 2000.
Did he tell Bush to sign CFR? New pill entitlement? New education programs? The list goes on and on...

If advising the President to piss off and demoralize his conservative base is a sign of genius, they should have hired Joe Trippi. He'd be considered an Einstein by the Rove worshipers.

This guy predicted a landslide in 2000. Blame whoever stopped GWB from talking about that DUI. This coming out so close to the election and the media's games on election night shut down the vote of the Republican base. (IMHO ;-))

I agree. I've heard that Rove is responsible for the guest worker amnesty plan - no one yet has convinced me this is a good thing for the country.

Karl Rove is a political genius that makes anything the left has cheap bottom eating slime. His politics are always high minded with the best this country has to offer in mind. He knows American history and the history of those who held the office and how they got there. When Rove talks....the President listens, and so does the GOP . THe DNC WISHES they had a class act going like Rove...but they use the old templet and that just doesn't work anymore as Kerry is finding out.Notice something...the President always comes from behind. The finish is usually amazing.
