You have entirely missed the point... I have been forbidden TO SUBMIT MATERIAL to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. I have no problem with not being published. Totally discretionary on the part of ANY paper. The problem here is that I have been forbidden to SUBMIT my editorial comments. And that, sir, is censorship and denial of Freedom of Speech. All this editor had to do was click "delete" on my email. Instead he chose to ban me permanent from submitting. Got it now?
Instead of blathering on FR, why not get quotes together and respond? He didn't blackball you. As far as he's concerned, he asked you for a response and he's hearing crickets chirp.
Where is the ACLU when you need them? ;^)
Hang in there trooper!
Got it the first time. If Gary Trudeau tried to submit anything to a paper I owned I would not accept it either. I gather you like to waste your time sending them the email knowing that they are not going to publish your work. If that's the case you are either a masochist or you are just harrasing the publisher.
That does not mean we can point and jeer when they do it though. I think that a whole lot of electronic pointing and jeering is in order.
