Cleland is on Hardball spewing right now.
We drove past Pres. #1 Bush's home in Houston right after they moved in. Now you can't even drive down that street, there is a gate, or there was last time we were in that area. We drove past his house and we saw SS men in the window. HIGH security for our presidents. You know after Lincoln, Kennedy, Reagan were shot, everyone with half a brain should realize that. But we are talking about Demwitocrats here. Not quite 1/2 a brain.
I have found that in a battle of wits they always come unarmed. Bad joke for THIS thread.
I heard the story of what happened here on local radio in Houston TX, on Dan Patrick's show. Jerry Patterson who leads Veterans for Bush was there to greet Max Cleland. Cleland wouldn't acknowledge Patterson by shaking his hand or anything. Jerry said on the radio he was just totally venemous. Jerry had a letter for Veterans for Bush for Max to give to Kerry. You think that Max took the letter. The answer is no. So the media will not report the true story

Cute ;-)
That would have been perfect, why didn't they think of it?
Why would she be angry about what Cleland did? By the way, you have my sympathy regarding the state of your sister's mental health.
Why should any loyal American give any time to these types? Cleland is a joke.
diffusing the part of the story that says they were "turned away".
the two stories the sheeple got from the mainstream news tonight - was this one, and Ben Ginsburg's resignation. two losers for our side in this news cycle.
Just like anti-war protesting days. Reliving their youth...getting back at the evil establishment?
Hee hee hee, that is what I LOVE about FreeRepublic. We can keep a light hearted view. This is a serious matter, but I love it when we remain cheerful. I just HOPE we win in November~
I was bombarded today with hateful emails about both subjects, sent to me from my democrap sister.
My sister is on Prozac and I must admit it has improved her personality. She is a lot easier to be around now, but still Liberal.... sigh...
Odds & ends = "Unfit for Command," which vaulted onto the New York Times Bestsellers List at #3 last week, climbed to the #1 spot this week.
Great pic Grampa :)
