Oh, I get it. One of those apologies that says I'm sorry if YOU were offended by what I said. Not-- I'm sorry for the hurtful words that I uttered?

If he apologizes, he is admitting he is responsible for treasonous activities. If the apology is sincere, he should immediately resign as Senator and withdraw from the race. Of course, we all know Russert and his ilk will define this as an act of character. There will be no accountability whatsoever, and the equally traitorous press will try to move on. Thank God for the Swiftees, they will not let this happen.
