But Kerry will put a stop to this immediately, right?

Zumwalt's mental state is understandable given the damages inflicted on him, for so many years, at the hands of Kerry and his merry band of anti-war activists.
This particular "smear plot" will backfire.

Bad move and SO easy to counter:
"Kerry is sliming the reputation and memory of our brave Veterans rather than confront the SBV's on the substance of their charges."

Compiling incriminating dossiers? These people are like the KGB. God help us if the running dog of Hanoi steals the election.

Sen. John Kerry called a member of the Swift Boat Veterans For Truth over the weekend Isn't this a violation of the 527 laws?

So nice to know that the idealists who are fighting to bring us a better world would happily kill as many of us as it takes to do it.

A group of Democratic loyalists is compiling incriminating dossiers on the members of the veteran group - and they sent us a preview of what might be in store for Swift Boat activist James Zumwalt, son of illustrious Adm. Elmo Zumwalt - and it isn't pretty. Bottom line:
1. Kerry can stop this "attack" on him simply by releasing all his records, thus proving the Swift Vets wrong...
2. Or he can send his brown shirts with their brown books to destroy real vets who served honorably.
3. What kind of "man" chooses personal destruction when a simple release of records would make him a winner?
Unless, of course, he's been lying about his records like he has everything else.

How very interesting. These men have done nothing more sinister than cast doubt Kerry's accounts of how he gained his medals, and they're going to get this kind of treatment from the Democrats? I hope any Swifty who is maligned in this way goes before the nearest camera and complains loud and long so folks will know the kind of man they're being asked to support for President.

I think the Swifties have already done too much damage for Kerry to recover from. He hasn't answered relevent, and pertinant questions. Tossing trash back over the fence isn't going to help. Not only this, it was completely predictable that they'd do something like this.
It doesn't change anything. :-)

But none of the Kerry surrogates were with Zumwalt, right? Isn't that their mantra?
These people are beyond disgusting.

Interesting chat with a pal who retired on disability from USN. Served in Viet Nam w/ Kerry on swift boats as enlisted man. Called him a lying SOB who fabricated after action reports. They called him JFK then and knew he had presidential ambitions. While going ashore with Kerry to a bunker this enlisted man was hit suffering grenade fragments in his arms and legs. He was medically retired from USN. Although he tried to contact Swift Vets once on EMail, he has decided to stay out the frey. He is happy on the farm.

People can get
Kerry's real book here,
right now,
online FREE!!
From Kerry's "The New Soldier":
Al Hubbard Sgt., 22 Troop Carrier Squadron Aug. 65-June 66
Emotions: Walking down the flight line at Saigon past stacks of aluminum cases containing American bodies and past stacks of aluminum luggage containing American currency. Seeing the tight, sad face of an Airman loading the bodies aboard a dirty Air Force Transport and the wide smiling face of a stewardess greeting the passengers aboard a clean Pan American Clipper Jet. Hearing a Vietnamese beg you to leave his country and an American colonel tells you to bomb his country. Hearing a Vietnamese invite you to live in his home, after the war and an American explain why you cant live in his block, after the war. Flying over barren, brown, safe American held terrain and over lush, green unsafe enemy terrain. Feeling happy to be leaving a country in which you do not belong and sad to be returning to a country in which you are not allowed to belong. Sacrificing a portion of your consciousness so you wont have to deal with being there and building mental blocks so you wont have to deal with having been there.
- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam. The only Vietnamese he ever met was when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.
John Kerry's explanation: "He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."

Their plan, abetted by the sycophant media, is to ignore the SBV charges, attack the SBV's for having the temerity to attack Kerry, cast aspersions to the SBV's (Bush sponsored smear campaign, backed by VRWC, etc.), and character assassinate the SBV's. IMO, none of this Will work. The quiet honor of the SBV's will prevail over the shrillness of Kerry and the Dims. In the end, it's about good vs the beast.
To: kattracks
The 'rats HAD to come up with something. Their shills in the MSM have been running like scared rabbits from examining the Swiftees' charges, and so far their crap hasn't worked. As more and more people hear about this, they need a way to squash the Swiftees without ever addressing the charges.

Getting into the personal lives of people not running for public office is going to backfire - especially if they have had deep, personal troubles. Most people have had personal trials some time during their lives; but most people haven't exaggerated about their military service in order to score political points on the national stage.
