Looks like someone wanted to frag Putin. Now would be a good time for Bush to call him and ask him if he wants to come on board. Something tells me the Ruskies won't go Spanish on us.
Russia won't join us in Iraq. There's nothing in it for them...and we don't need them.
Iran, however, might be a different matter...
It's not a question of the Russians coming on board; it's a question of US coming on board and of somebody getting our wretched state department under control. Russians have BEEN on board, and most of what they hear is that our terrorists are terrorists while theirs are "freedom fighters". Last I heard, our state department was still broadcasting their own brand of BS to checheniya in chechen language.
Something has to give here. Russia is the most natural and most valuable ally we could possible have in any sort of struggle against islammic terrorism.
Somebody was out to get Putin it's clear. I am amazed how cautious the media is about not speculating about the "possibility of terrorism". How much proof do they really need before they figure it out.
One of the planes was headed for Sochi .. Putin is, I believe presently in Sochi ... hmmm
