I helped start the site 2 years ago and it's a great place to get good info on things weather (especially on the East Coast). We have a few pro meteorologists posting there now. Their take (I have not looked close enough yet) is that the storm will affect the SE or swing through the gap between the US and Bermuda. I guess it all depends on how fast it gets to the US. A trough is likely to sweep into the region by about day 7 (next Thursday).

My guess for the contest is first landfall on San Salvador, Cat 3. Then into Florida and turning up towards the north. I missed Charley by about 150 miles on my first guess, so what do I know...
