Well, this news doesn't surprise me a bit, considering that Ramsey Clark's baby is the International Action Center, and on whose website you can read:

Ramsey Clark's Indictment of George W. Bush

"MUMIA ABU-JAMAL ON DEATH ROW / POLITICAL PRISONERS/ RACISM AND OPPRESSION"

Call to Resist - Sisters and Brothers in the Armed Forces: Resist! Organize! Refuse to participate in war crimes. Join us in taking action to stop the war.

Ramsey Clark's IAC also spawned (just a few days after September 11, 2001) another Communist front group, International A.N.S.W.E.R., well known for their regular "anti war" rallies, marches, and peace riots in DC, NYC, CA and elsewhere.

Ramsey Clark is worse than simply senile. He is evil. (And so are his comrades.)

Hey, even tyrannical thugs have a right to counsel. What I wonder is why Saddam would want him. I understand he's not really that good of a lawyer.

You know how he got the job of US Attorney General? LBJ wanted to appoint Thurgood Marshall as the first black Justice of the Supreme Court, but there was no opening. LBJ had to create an opening by getting one of the sitting Justices to quit.

Tom Clark, Ramsey's father, was on the Supreme Court. By naming Ramsey as AG, LBJ got Tom to quit, based on a conflict of interest, thereby freeing the path to nominate Marshall. At least that's the explanation I have heard.

"He keeps turning up in dark, dank places, like mold."

Very apt descriptors. He has always reminded me of a "Gray"...you know the ET's that people keep seeing...in dank dark moldy places.

"I'm convinced that the twisted anger and hatred displayed by liberals for traditionally conservative American values and principles (and their proponents and adherents) is due to mental illness."

Actually they are quite sane. They're just evil. Of course there is a difference between the leaders and the followers. I would compare them to Jim Jones and his flock.

You have correctly identified the Orwellian double-think that they spew. It's a question whether they themselves believe it.

The Left depicts their ideology as 'progressive' when in fact it is anything but that. They fundamentally distrust the idea of limited representative government because it is based upon a popular mandate. That is why they work so hard to undermine it and ally themselves with any dictator who hates America.

They long for a return to the Dark Ages, when everyone knew their place and only a few had wealth and power. The Left is the true reactionary group.

Those who advocate for freedom are the true radicals, because still to this day only a small minority of the world's population actually lives in freedom.

Call to Resist - Sisters and Brothers in the Armed Forces: Resist! Organize! Refuse to participate in war crimes. Join us in taking action to stop the war.

Therefore, we call upon members of the Armed Forces to:
Refuse to torture prisoners in violation of International Law.
Refuse to obey illegal orders.
Refuse to commit atrocities against an innocent population.

Not a bad piece of propaganda!
Who could criticize this call? Even the US Military admonishes service members to do the same. No one in their right mind could disagree with it. Even “stop the war” - very few like war, but the best way to stop a war in progress is to win it. Win it as quickly as possible to minimize casualties.
But - it is couched in a context that makes it appear that service members routinely torture prisoners, obey illegal orders and commit atrocities.
Joseph Goebbels would be proud.
