Air Canada lost all engines on a 767. Put it down on a drag strip. No problems.

Gliding an airliner down is not something that can be done every time they lose all engines. While it has been done several times, there is no guarantee that every pilot could do it.

True, but you have plenty of time to talk to ARTCC and declare an emergency, etc. There was no radio contact here.

Wouldn't fuel problems give 'em time to Mayday?

They wouldn't just fall out of the sky with bad fuel.

Only some form of a catastrophic breakup leaving no time for radio calls.
