Driving home today, I listened to NPR interviewing an Iraqi sportscaster.
When asked about the anti-Bush statements of the one of the Iraqi coaches, the Iraqi sportscaster said that you had to remember that the Iraqi coach was probably speaking for Iraqi domestic consumption so that some Baathist or al Sadr thug would not plant a bomb in his car when he came home.
The answer did not fit the agenda of the NPR intervier, what's-his-name-in-the-afternoon, who then badgered the sportswriter, "But what about what this player said or what the second player said?"
